Security at child care centers, daycare facilities, and preschools is an important subject. Employing the best possible security features has it’s benefits
We all want our young children to have a safe and fun environment for play and learning. In this article we’ll highlight child care security hardware that can help enhance security procedures at your center.
Enhancing Child Care Security With Integrated Hardware
Parent’s stress about the wellbeing of their child every single moment they aren’t in a direct line of sight. It’s natural. Trusting a child care center to help with the development of their child requires a secure and safe environment. Below, we explore a trio of Procare’s integrated hardware offerings.
Procare Touch Computer
The Procare Touch Computer helps by allowing only authorized pick up persons to check children in or out. Each parent, or another pick up person, is assigned a unique PIN (personal identification number). The PIN must be entered before a child may be picked up. To take full advantage of this system the Touch Computer may be connected to an electrically operated door strike. When the PIN is entered it opens an interior hallway door. This helps prevent unauthorized access to your classroom corridor.
Keyless Entry System (KES)
For exterior door access, the Procare Keyless Entry System (KES) is the product of choice to increase child care security. Only authorized persons, using their unique ID Code, can enter your daycare center. The Keyless Entry also helps you monitor who enters the building by showing the time each ID code was used throughout the day. Once inside your center, the same ID Code / PIN may be used to check children in and out on the ProCare Time Clock or a computer running software.
Procare’s interior door controller is connected to your electrically operated interior door to buzz the door open when a parent or other authorized person checks a child in or out at a computer station. This can be done using a traditional keyboard and mouse or a touch screen monitor.
An interior door controller provides added security and peace of mind. You won’t need to frantically consider the chance that you left a door unlocked. Child care security is paramount, and with this integrated hardware you can determine who can unlock designated doors by using a check-in/out computer or Procare Touch device.
USB Biometric Fingerprint ID Pad
With Procare’s biometric ID pad is used with our check in solutions. It includes advanced fingerprint readability and encrypted fingerprint data that result in the unmatched ability to accurately and quickly authenticate difficult fingerprints. This is another layer of security that your child care center can benefit from by putting it to use at the front desk. Parents will appreciate the extra level of verification.
Integrated hardware can set you apart from the competition. The children in your care will flourish in a safe environment and the parents will have no need to worry.
